Meet Our Management Team

Mark Feld Founder and Chairman

Mark is the Founder and Chairman of TranStar National Title and brings over 30 years of industry knowledge and experience to the company. Mark began his title career with Title Insurance and Trust in California where he spent twelve years in various technical and management positions. In 1990, Mark started his first title company, Western Cities Title, where he built an impeccable reputation for outstanding service throughout Southern California. The level of service that Western Cities provided caught the eye of LandSafe and in 1995 LandSafe acquired Western Cities to become its' in-house title operation. Mark was promoted from California State Manager to President of the National Title Division, LandSafe Title, based in Plano, Texas. 

In 1998 Mark left LandSafe Title to start a national title agency, ServAmerica National Title. ServAmerica was formed to serve the growing need of mortgage lender requirements for consistent quality title and closing services throughout multiple states. ServAmerica was one of the first centralized title agencies to specialize in providing title and closing services with outstanding quality service to regional and national mortgage lenders. ServAmerica's outstanding reputation in the industry gained the attention of a California-based technology company, and, in March 2000, ServAmerica was acquired. After completing the sale and the transition of the company Mark started TranStar National Title with the vision of TranStar becoming the premier provider of national title and closing services in the industry.

Randall Dykes Co-Founder and President

Randy is Co-Founder and President of TranStar National Title. Randy began his business career in 1981 where he spent ten years with Xerox Corporation in various sales and management positions. After leaving Xerox Randy held several senior level sales and marketing positions with divisions of Fortune 500 companies. Randy also served as Senior Vice President of Sales & Marketing for a Dallas-based commercial real estate company. In 1996, Randy joined LandSafe Title as Senior Vice President of National Sales for LandSafe Title and was a major contributor to its growth and national expansion.

In 1998, Randy left LandSafe Title to co-found ServAmerica National Title. ServAmerica was formed to serve the growing need of mortgage lender requirements for consistent quality title and closing services throughout multiple states. Gary Beeny Executive Vice President, Senior Underwriting Counsel

As Senior Underwriting Counsel of TranStar National Title, Gary brings over 25 years of industry knowledge and experience to the company. Upon graduation from the University of Missouri School of Law, Gary began his title career with Ticor Title Insurance in Kansas City, Missouri, as its local counsel. Gary earned numerous promotions and became Executive Vice President for the entire Western Region. After leaving Ticor, Gary briefly joined Gateway Title and then was recruited away to become President and Chief Operating Officer for North American Title Company, which at the time was the largest independently-owned title company in the country. After seven years of tremendous growth and success, North American Title was well-positioned for a sale and was acquired by Lennar Builders, one of the largest home builders in the country. Upon completion of the sale and transition of the company, Gary joined United Title Insurance Company as Executive Vice President.

Throughout his career Gary has been active in various title industry associations where he served for many years on the Executive Committee of the California Land Title Association as well as the Anti-rebate and Education Committee. In addition, Gary is a past President of the California Land Title Association.

Sharon Shaw Vice President of Closing Services

Sharon serves as Vice President of Closing Services for TranStar National Title and is a 40-year title industry veteran. Sharon began her title career in 1973 in Oklahoma where she learned all aspects of the title industry from the ground up. Sharon held the position of processor, closer, and then was promoted into the ranks of management. In 1993, Sharon moved to Texas to manage a local title company, and, in 1995, joined LandSafe as a branch manager for LandSafe Title. Sharon was then recruited to join the staff of ServAmerica National Title where she became a closer and was later promoted to Closing Supervisor and then Closing Manager. After the acquisition of ServAmerica in March of 2000, Sharon briefly joined First American Title as a Closing Manager until she joined TranStar National Title in March 2002.

Cheryl Ramold Vice President of Funding Services

Cheryl serves as Vice President of Funding Services for TranStar National Title. Cheryl began her career in the mortgage industry in 1991 working for Builders Finance in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. In 1994, Cheryl joined LandSafe Title, a division of LandSafe. While at LandSafe, Cheryl held numerous positions including loan processor. She eventually moved into a closing position. In 1997, Cheryl was promoted and moved to Plano, Texas as part of the national expansion team for LandSafe Title. Cheryl was instrumental in the set-up and development of LandSafe's National Division. In 1998, Cheryl joined ServAmerica National Title as Funding and Disbursement Manager. After the acquisition of ServAmerica in March of 2000, Cheryl retained her position with the new company until November 2001 when she joined the team of TranStar National Title.

Russ Saenz Vice President, Underwriting/IT Support Services

Russ is a 28-year industry veteran and serves as Vice President of Underwriting and Technical Support Services for TranStar National Title where he oversees all title and closing operations. Russ began his title career in 1986 with Ticor Title Insurance where he worked his way from an entry-level position through all areas of title production. Russ then joined Western Cities Title in 1991 and over the years took on increased responsibility. In 1995 LandSafe acquired Western Cities Title where Russ expanded his title and operations experience with LandSafe Title and was promoted into a management role . In 2003, Russ was recruited from LandSafe to join the management staff of TranStar National Title.
